“We want to make it as easy as possible for you to get started now building outstanding Windows Phone apps leveraging all of the new functionality we’ve added in Windows Phone Mango,” Larry Lieberman, Product Manager, Windows Phone App Platform, notes in a blog post.
Along with these tools and images, the company also made available a new series of resources meant to offer developers the possibility to easily get started with the building of application for the mobile operating system.
Those who would like to learn more on what developing applications for Windows Phone Mango is all about can access Official Windows Phone Developer documentation on the MSDN Library here.
The new documentation includes info on the Mango SDK, a series of 26 new code samples for Mango, as well as the ‘How To’ index, with links to all the important resources that developers can access when interested in implementing specific functionalities with their mobile apps.
At the same time, devs can access Windows Phone Mango Training Course, which have been updated to match the new beta 2 release of the Developer Tools with various scenarios in Windows Phone Mango to come up with specific applications.
Along with these, application developers can also have a look at the Inside Windows Phone Show on Channel 9 here, with video walkthroughs of new features, as well as at the updated App Hub Game Developer Resources here, with resources specifically tailored for Mango.
“This is but a small sample of the large set of resources we’ve currently got available. In the coming weeks and months, we’ll be releasing more items targeted at helping you leverage all of the fantastic new developer features in Mango,” Lieberman concludes.
